Formed out of the ashes of the Promise Ring and the Dismemberment Plan, indie stone turnout Maritime come by the way of Washington, D.C., and Milwaukee. Davey von Bohlen (vocals/guitar), Dan Didier (drums), and Eric Axelson (bass part) formed in 2003. With an devout pop out well-grounded that lights-out into the sandy-toned melodies of Elephant 6 and classic punk maulers, Maritime released their debut album, Glass Floor, in 2004. Arriving in 2006, We, the Vehicles marked their low button for the Flameshovel label.
